JEE Main 2019 Mathematics question on Vector Algebra

Let α⃗=3i^+j^\vec{\alpha} = 3\hat{i} + \hat{j} and β⃗=2i^−j^+3k^\vec{\beta} = 2\hat{i} - \hat{j} + 3\hat{k}. If β⃗=β⃗1−β⃗2\vec{\beta} = \vec{\beta}_1 - \vec{\beta}_2, where β⃗1\vec{\beta}_1 is parallel to α⃗\vec{\alpha} and β⃗2\vec{\beta}_2 is perpendicular to α⃗\vec{\alpha}, then β⃗1×β⃗2\vec{\beta}_1 \times \vec{\beta}_2 is equal to
  1. A.
    12(3i^−9j^+5k^)\frac{1}{2}(3\hat{i} - 9\hat{j} + 5\hat{k})
  2. B.
    12(−3i^+9j^+5k^)\frac{1}{2}(-3\hat{i} + 9\hat{j} + 5\hat{k})
  3. C.
    −3i^+9j^+5k^-3\hat{i} + 9\hat{j} + 5\hat{k}
