Solution

Along the incline: mg sin30° - μk mg cos30° = m(g/4)

Dividing by mg: sin30° - μk cos30° = 1/4

1/2 - μk (√3/2) = 1/4

μk (√3/2) = 1/2 - 1/4 = 1/4

μk = (1/4) × (2/√3) = 1/(2√3)
